Application for Certification “ISON Level 3”
The International Society of Neuropelveology (ISON) invites physicians, surgeons and healthcare professionals worldwide to participate in the official ISON educational pathway in Neuropelveology.
The ISON Level 1 and Level 2 Certification Programs have been established to promote structured education and advanced theoretical knowledge in pelvic nerve anatomy, neuropelveological diagnostics, pelvic neurofunctional disorders, laparoscopic neurofunctional surgery and bioelectronic medicine. However, due to the highly specialized and complex nature of Neuropelveology, completion of Level 1 and/or Level 2 educational activities alone does not confer the title of “Neuropelveologist” and does not automatically qualify a physician to independently perform neuropelveological surgery. According to the ISON Consensus and Certification Guidelines, recognition as an “independent neuropelveologist ISON Level 3″ requires:
- extensive clinical experience
- advanced surgical expertise
- long-term practical activity
- multidisciplinary competence
- documented case experience
- continued scientific participation
- and formal Level 3 recognition by ISON.
